What does the EU Cookie Law mean for your business?

In May 2011, the European Commission passed the EU Cookie Law stating that every website that saved cookies to a user’s browser would need to get the user’s permission to do so before being allowed to. Without this permission they would be in breach of the law and could potentially be fined.
